2006 Leafleting outside Pinellas County Schools Veterans for Peace and Friends have leafleted outside eleven (11) high schools and we distributed approximately 2500 leaflets to students and parents in 2006.

The questions that we are asking include:
Why are the Pinellas Schools giving greater access to students by military recruiters than corporate recruiters?
Aren't those who are considering enlistment allowed to hear or read pro and con? Otherwise how will students and their parents be able to evaluate risk versus benefits?
Should educators be preventing access to alternative information?
If not Veterans for Peace and friends then who will tell the students?

School Board Actions

Tuesday, Nov. 21 at 10:30 am the school board will be holding a workshop on the type of access VFP will have in the schools. We invite your support and participation there.
